We welcomed over 350 parents over the course of the weekend!
Parents helped us to decorate in fall's greatest splendor!
After arriving, families enjoyed lunch with their children.
After lunch, John Quirk gave a welcome to all parents.
After the welcome, the Wind Ensemble shared their work in progress toward the December 9th Winter Concert. Music from "Frozen" was expertly played!
After all the afternoon activities were enjoyed, there was a reception at the Quirks where John Quirk welcomed parents and introduced the Madrigals who sang a few songs.
That evening we enjoyed seeing drama rehearsals in the Black Box.
And some acoustical music by the fire pit where we roasted s'mores!
Saturday morning we were up early and heading to mini-classes!
Anne Lovely woke us up with a bang in chemistry class.
Then it was to the fields to watch the sea wolves in action. Alumni, retired faculty, and friends were all on hand to help us cheer our teams on. We played Cushing in most sports, with football against St. Thomas More.
Dining Services kept the fans stoked with chili, chowder, cookies and cider!
The Varsity Field Hockey Team did some fundraising (selling t-shirts) for their "Play for the Cure" game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.
Parents enjoyed the sunshine and the games!
The football team prevailed! Indeed, all our teams played well. A great end to a great weekend. Thanks for coming!
